Hand-knotted in smooth, suede-like wool, an antique Qashqai rug originating circa 1920-1930, joining Rug & Kilim’s coveted Antique & Vintage collection. Celebrating fine aesthetics of a reputed Iranian workshop, the 6x8 collectible features diamond medallions with tribal geometric patterns idyllic to the lineage in deep hues of maroon, teal, royal blue, chocolate brown & subtle beige along with white for tasteful punctuation. A beautiful piece with a mature vibe, prevailing in good condition, worthy of being in a collector’s repertoire.
Connoisseurs will note the corroded black background in this piece is one of our principal’s favorite examples of a classic Qashqai rug among his personal hand-picked additions to our antique Persian rug collection.
