The original work comes from the fountain of Anet Castle, which is now exposed to the Louvre Museum. The favorite of King Henri II is represented by profile, the hair raised and carefully capped in braids, retained by a crown, in the fashion of ancient inspiration. The artist has brilliantly transcribed the finesse of his features, and the nobility that emerges.
Accompanied by its reassembly key, this clock has a beautifully decorated dial with a surroundings and golden Roman numerals.
