Realized by wmf, … more Vintage wmf art-deco can and vase is an original decorative pair of objects realized in the 1910s. Realized by wmf, germany. Original brass product. Very good condition. Beautiful pair of objects realized in brass and made by wmf in germany in the first decade of the 20th century. The set includes two different objects: a brass round box on a three ball feet with a protruding rim with the rising lid slim knob. The surfaces of the objects present a hammered decoration. The conical vase has an oblique shoulder with a slightly offset wide band with a relief medallion. This set has been realized by historical and very famous wmf. Wmf (originally württembergische machin fabrik ag), originally founded in 1853 in geislingen van der steige, germany. In 1880 there was an amalgamation of straub & sohn and a ritter & co. And the factory became famous for domestic and art metalware with an appropriate change of name to württembergische metallwarenfabrik ag. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
