Its particularity … Read more This centerpiece, as suggested by the name, is inspired by the shape of a mushroom, 'fungo' in Italian. Its particularity is above all in the elliptical aspect that offers a duality and a direction in the compositions, both from the long side and from the short side. The craftsman realizes the elliptical shape by directing the movements of the wood during the drying phase only in one direction. This black Fungo owes its color to a surface finish based on iron oxides which give it its black color.
