We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original 1927 Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel candlesticks by Charles … Read more We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of original 1927 Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel candlesticks by Charles Green & Co A well made and decorative pair, fully hallmarked 1927, the Birmingham anchor and the sideways facing Lion for sterling silver These types of silver and enamel candlesticks are highly collectable, the light is pulled into the enamel and it gives off a glorious glow In terms of condition they are a lovely pair, one is slightly shorter than the other and two of the panels have thinning around the edges of the enamel, the silver has nicely tarnished in places which is a good sign of genuine age Dimensions Height 18.5 cm Width 6.3 cm Depth 6.3 cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
