Pair of Ginori Porcelain is an original decorative object realized by Richard Ginori in the middle of the XX Century. Colored porcelain. Marked on the base. Made in Italy. Both are in very good conditions. Beautiful quality couple of small sculptures depicting two portraits of seated old people. The male figure is eating with a bowl in his hand and the female figure is squatting in front of a bucket with a white kitten on her lap. Richard Ginori's dinner sets interpret the class with an essential design. A new form of functional elegance is born at the same time, to interpret new styles and modern trends. The history of the Ginori Manufacture begins at Doccia, a village close to Florence. The Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori, inspired by the passion for white gold, started a porcelain factory destined to become an icon of style, all over the world. Today, the tradition of the Florentine fashion house is always the same: to transform porcelain into pure beauty. This object is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any object in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist, designer or craftsman who has died requires a license for export regardless of the work’s market price. The shipping may require additional handling days to require the license according to the final destination of the object. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution less
