This work represents a German shepherd at a standstill, licking its left front paw. Concentrated on his task, ears erect, the dog wears a large collar that we imagine to be made of studded leather. His posture is slender and his fur is shiny.
The signature is affixed to the right on a dark green bronze base.
The artist conveys his love for man's best friend in this touching and singular work.
