This example from the 1960s in the most … more Amazing vintage "Gold Hill" folding stool designed by Cabinetmaker Poul Hundevad, Denmark. This example from the 1960s in the most beautifully patinated oak and leather. The model stems from a folding stool from the bronze age circa 1400 BC found during an excavation in Guldhøj (Golden Hill) in Denmark. The stool was designed by Hundevad in 1960 based on the drawings by this stool and is a Danish modern furniture icon. This example still has the original leather with the story of the gold hill stool and makers mark underneath. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
