This set of two coronation plates were produced at the Royal Copenhagen factory between 1906 to 1912. This piece was issued on the occasion of the coronation of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine in 1906, and the second on the occasion of the ascent of King Frederik VIII, and Queen Louise in 1906. Both plates are limited edition, and were designed by Arnold Krog. They are made from white porcelain, and were handpainted in cobalt blue, glazed and provided with a floor mark on the underside.
