Landscape painting ''Afton Agatin'' by Swedish painter John Ivar Berg. Sweden, 1976. Oil on canvas. Berg, (1916-2003) Studied arts at Otte Sköld school and later at Konstakademien, Academy of modern art in Stockholm. Berg was a fore figure in the constructivist movement from 1948 and through the 1950s. Later he painted mostly landscape painting leaving the abstract form. He is represented at the Swedish Modern Museum in Stockholm. Among his work is a range of large public paintings, al fresco, mosaik and sculpture in Sweden.
