Columbus-Erdglobus refers to Columbus-Verlag GmbH Berlin from the 1920s to the 1930s (until 1937).
The hand-blown glass ball is hand-clad with lighting and a compass in the base, which is typical for the globes from this period. The globe has an E27 socket. This globe is a very rare specimen, it was made without meridian and can be rotated on the wooden base. It was not until the mid-20s that Columbus produced the first illuminated globes. The glass balls are mouth-blown. This piece has an attribution mark,
