This piece was constructed in solid cherry and made to resemble an 18th century piece. From the well executed carvings, the nicely shaped doors, to the pegged construction it has all the hallmarks of the antique piece that inspired it. The upper doors open to an interior with one adjustable shelf, and a media shelf which is adjustable with two storage cubbies below. The upper doors are pocket doors and recess completely into the the top and out of the way. Should you want to use it as a traditional clothing armoire, the top is deep enough to accommodate a hanging rod as well. The lower doors open to an interior with single shelf. Both sets of doors have working lock with single key for both. less
