This vase in an earthy green, red, and golden brown solfatara glazes was designed by award-wining Danish ceramist Marianne Starck. She was employed at Michael Andersen and Son from 1955 and was educated at the School of Fine Arts in Hamburg where she also became a prominent figure. The vase is signed with Starck's initials (MS), and is stamped with the crest of Michael Andersen & Son. It was produced between 1955 and 1959. Stamped by Maker,This piece has an attribution mark,
