Welcome to the latest. … more Every now and then I find something that appears to have fallen through a time machine. Welcome to the latest. These are from West Virginia glass, from the 50s. Yes, that's 70ish years old. Every single decal is in mint condition. There's no lime deposit, no slight rub of the decal, nothing. There is however some gold loss on the holder, ever so slight, and a tiny chip on the larger bowl, shown in pictures. Or Tried to anyway. It's tiny and easily covered simply by placing the holder on it. The two "legs" easily go either side of it, without actually endangering it by touching the chip. Please go look at the pictures, then come back. Normally I don't accept or sell items with chips. This chip is not even as wide as the gold trim, round and not in danger of further damage. Also the bowls are 70ish years old in a pattern so rate and hard to find I couldn't find a picture of it. The Blue Jay, Baltimore Oriole, and Tufted Titmouse are on the bottom chip bowl and the Blue Bird, Cardinal and Scarlet Tanager are on the dip. The smaller bowl is 5 x 5 x 2.5" and the larger is 10.5 x 10.5 x 6.25. Once put together on the holder the set is 10.5" around and 9" high. If you're a birdwatcher or have a birdwatcher on your list, you're going to be hard pressed to beat this set. UNLESS. I have other pieces of this set listed separately in my chairish store. That set has NO flaws! Go look!!!! less
