The hair is placed over the stoneware in the kiln when the pot is red hot. The hair sizzles and scorches the surface creating black lines in irregular shapes. No two pieces are exactly alike. This pot measures 5 inch high and 6 inch round with a 2 inch round opening. The pattern that is carved into the surface is very colorful and intricate with the buffalo being the featured design. less
