These bookends were designed by the Austrian Walter Bosse during the 1950s. The pieces depict two adult and one baby penguin and are made from partially polished brass and black lacquer. The penguin depicted on the left of the photograph measures h 19cm / w 14cm / d 10cm, whilst the one on the right measures h 18cm / w 13 cm/ d 9cm. The baby measures h 5cm/ w 4cm/ d 2.5cm. The Penguins are in a good vintage condition with little signs of wear. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
