Impressionistic style pastoral landscape painting by French artist André Lemaitre. The work features a small countryside village covered in a blanket of snow. Signed by artist in front lower right corner as well as signed, titled, and dated on reverse. Currently hung in a complementary gold frame.

Artist Biography: André Lemaitre was born in Falaise, France in 1909. He was best known for his impressionistic landscapes and still life paintings. Lemaitre passed away in 1995 in Caen, France. less
