Our designers and engineers chose a thickness of 0.059 for the structure, considering the material weight, structural integrity, design appeal, functionality and, of course, safety. This thickness allows repetitive folding without losing firmness and stability but still provides some sculptural and visual flexibility. The heavier the top and the higher the base, the more likely you could experience a slight 'twisting' sensation if you move the table or if the floor is uneven.
