This vintage oil on board was painted by Massacusettts native and resident, Ms. Edna Graham, in the early 1900's. Ms. Graham was very well known in her corner of the world and sold successfully to locals throughout her lengthy career. Although she passed away in 1960, she has certainly not been forgotten. Her niece and nephew inherited all paintings she still retained and we are delighted that they have consigned them to us for placement. We have now sold more of Ms. Graham's paintings than all the other artists in our store. This crisp feel good painting draws one in and evokes the feeling of simpler times when days seemed longer and relaxation was an evening by the fire or a sleigh ride in the snow.
