Danish glassmaker Per Lütken (1916 - 1998) worked at Holmegaard from 1942 until his death in 1998. During this period he created some of the factory's finest pieces and all-time classics like the drop vase.
The work of Per Lütken is still highly rated, especially throughout Scandinavia.
The arrival of Lütken at Holmegaard in many aspects marked a new beginning in the history of the factory that was originally founded in 1823. His aesthetic creations, in timeless designs, appealed to the Scandinavian taste and many of his pieces has become collectors items. less
