This Vladimir Kagan sofa is simply stunning. The entire sofa has been upholstered in a heavy ivory bouclé, including the double disc bottom. This heavily textured sofa is not only visually appealing, it's insanely comfortable and is incredibly stylish.
With all the supply chain issues, back orders on fabric and upholstery shop lead times of 4-6 months, having a stunningly refinished piece is in more demand than ever.
We currently have this sofa paired with a Karl Springer coffee table and think that this Kagan sofa would pair nicely with any type of Mid-Century Modern, Danish modern or even Hollywood Regency environment. Having its neutral color really lends itself to almost any type of modern design.
This sofa would look wonderful in any type of Mid-Century Modern, contemporary or even transitional environment. With its timeless style it could be used in a family room, living room or even an office environment or lobby. This sofa is sure to steal the show!
(When it comes to Kagan cloud sofas, to the untrained eye, they may all seem the same... same kind of form etc. However, they are not. These sofas have a clear hierarchy of value, with the Directional examples with the acrylic leg down the middle and tagged worth substantially more than other examples. One of these examples in microsuede with discoloration sold at Wright auction 10/28/21 for $14300 including buyer's premium, not including tax.
