The Frankenthal Porcelain Factory was one of the greatest porcelain manufacturers of Germany and operated between the years 1755 and 1799. From the start they were making hard-paste porcelain, same as Meissen, and produced figurines and dishes of very high quality. The style was reflecting the French origins of the business, especially in their floral painting. Hannong family, who moved their business to Frankenthal, Germany, used to work previously in Strasbourg, France. (reference: Wikipedia)
A very early piece of Frankenthal, since it also bears the first mark "PH" that was used only in 1755
