Vintage Mackintosh's toffee tin, dating to about the 1920s, with a view of Durham Cathedral near the River Wear in England, nicely printed in gold, dark red, orange, and black. This is a small tin for 5 ounces of Mackintosh's Rum and Butter Toffee de Luxe. Writing on the side notes "manufactured in Toronto Canada for the proprietors John Mackintosh & Sons Ltd., Halifax, England."
The tin has some light scratches, a few small dents, and some darkening but is still bright and nice. The lid fits snugly, but removes easily. This is a great little tin for display or storage of jewelry or other trinkets.
