It is titled and inscribed 37 in the plate. the first edition was published posthumously in 1863, followed by more editions until 1937. The plate mark size is is 6.15 x 8.15 inches, framed is 19.25 x 20.25 inches. it is custom framed in a gold, with heavy dark brown patina, fabric matting and gold color spacer. It is in very good condition. Pictured and referenced in the artist's catalogue raisonne by Delteil, plate #156, Harris plate #157.1.3 and Blas and Mattilla plate #37 This particular artwork is held in several museums worldwide.
