Fine Napoleon III miniature portrait painting after Jules Dupre, France 1811-1889
This framed portrait is of a beautiful young woman or lady presented in an understated antique brass frame behind convex glass. The lady is drapped in a fine white veil, dressed in an empire style white gown trimmed with red. She wears a stunning & large oblong emerald brooch on her décolletage.
19th Century.
Signed Dupre' at bottom right.
Condition is very good. A fine addition to any miniature portrait collection.
