The very faint marking on the back of the larger plates listed separately seems to be Canonsburg, pattern name unknown. These smaller plates have no mark at all. Canonsburg made china in Pennsylvania under this stamp from 1909-1975, and were best known for their decal Ironstone, such as these pieces, that featured bright, vivid, floral designs whose appeal continues to captivate collectors today.
The plates are 6.25"w x 6.25"d x .75"h
The colors are still vivid and gorgeous, but there is some wear on the gold trim. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. This set is perfect for decor, mixing with other sets or using for everyday use. If you do decide to use it to eat off of, please don't put it in the dishwasher. Gold trim does not do well in the dishwasher. less
