The factory started in 1934 and this set is from the 1960s based on the makers mark. The set is considered semi-porcelain which Cronin was known to produce. Each piece has gold gilt along the fluted scalloped rims and a beautiful floral design in the center featuring a colorful bird and a blue bird house amidst the large floral blooms. This set is perfect to serve appetizers or desserts. The three platters allow for serving various delights and your guests can chose their fare. The 16 plates allow for you to serve a large crowd or you have the option to start a meal with half of them for your appetizer and then finish using the other half for your dessert. Very versatile set.
