A detailed wrap-around hand painted scene depicts a traditional village with the ever present Mount Fuji in the background. Striking green bamboo in the foreground. The body is decorated further with bands of red and gold borders.
Hallmarked on underside with the Satsuma factory mark painted in gold together with a "Japan" sticker.
Condition is excellent.
Age is Mid 20th Century.
