It was not done or accident drop, but the natural wear, when wood or natural material dries up, or happenstance when taken and formed into this wonderful piece of history within the Chinese & Asian culture(s), as no two are alike, and differentiate with he material utilized during the crafting of this piece, otherwise lovingly carved for. less

This piece has been crafted entirely from bamboo, with two smaller bamboo branches which have been twisted and contorted to conform to a handle, yet organic in nature, Boho Chic lover's and Palm beach Style exudes within his piece. While the body of the piece, has been minimally touched, internally and externally, it also showcase the old age, and the textural patterning and grain of large bamboo husk/branch. The art of drinking tea in China and in Asian culture, takes on many iterations, cultures and traditions, social customs, beyond the shapes and material utilized, such as this piece is. Currently not used as tea pot, but as a decorative object, from a person, whom has a wide and varied tea pot collection, but this item was gifted to them over 30 plus yrs ago. This tea pot dates close and within the late Qing Dynasty. From a Palm Beach, Florida Estate. less
