One-of-a-kind ceramic plate made by Japanese artist. These are not only functional tableware, but beautiful objects themselves. Perfect on your table as serving plate, or on the wall as decor.
Food safe.
Solid marble-esque ceramic plate 20 cm. Hand thrown porcelain by sought-after Japanese ceramic artist Takemura Yoshinori.
With Nerikomi pieces, the clay itself was pigmented, and marbled in the throwing process. The marble is not only on the surface but runs through the body of each piece. See the back of the plates.
Front surface is thinly glazed, and has subtle sheen. The back is unglazed.
You would feel them heavier and chunkier in your hand than they look like.
