There is one small dent in the metal base of the Lamp as shown in one of the images. Also there are some surface scratches on the base and the pole of the lamp. These imperfections are very unnoticeable and do not take away from the majestic elegance of this lamp.

A brilliant play on perspective, Superarchimoon feels oversized and magnificent, providing direct and diffused light via a pleated cloth external diffuser and acid-etched, hand-blown glass internal diffuser. The diffuser support is sandcast aluminum, and the gray-painted assembly is composed of tubular aluminum arms and tie rods, a stainless steel spring, and die-cast aluminum joints. The sand-cast aluminum base features six lead counterweights and a painted gray spun-aluminum base cover.
The polarized power cord is covered with silver fabric, and it features a 0%-100% dimmer.
The Dimmer switch/box and wire to the plug are in black.
The lamp shade is made beautifully from a plisée cloth in an Ecru shade color.
Suitable for indoor use.
This Lampo model is still in production, therefore if you ever wanted to replace any of the parts, it it is easily available and can be placed online through the FLOS website.
Please note, this lamp will require some installation if dismantled for shipping purposes but all instructions are available and does not require a professional person to install.
Inspiration behind the design:
By creating a desk lamp writ large in the most captivating of ways, Philippe Starck challenges us once again to look differently at the objects we see every day.
This style of lamp is as original and modern as it gets, the designer essentially turned a desktop lamp design into a large attractive floor lamp. It really does stand out as a feature pièce-de- résistance in a home, an office or an entrance to any property.
The dimmer switch really does give you the freedom to create a romantic mood light in the evening or brighten up a property.
I LOVE this lamp for all the above reasons and would never sell it if I were not moving to another continent.
Please note this lamp is still in production at FLOS and all the parts are easily available and can be ordered online should you wish to replace any parts.
This floor lamp can be dismantled and reassembled should you require to have it shipped. less
