Small scale expressionistic oil on board in vivid pink, blue and green paint, by East Village artist Kim Keever. He was a part of the 1980s New York City East Village art scene that included Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kenny Scharf and Keith Haring and many others. Painted in the period when Keever was using heavy impasto that gives this work a sculptural depth. Purchased from M-13 Gallery on east Ninth Street in 1985.
Signed and dated 3/85. 7 by 14 inches.
