Features … more A rare and early vintage, In the style of, or attributed to; Saarinen for Knoll, this tulip bar stool. Features a polished round, tubular chrome footrest, and a swivel seat. One usually sees the stools without a chrome foot rest.

Newly professionally refinished, powder-coated in a high-gloss enameled white finish. Newly professionally upholstered seat in a cotton, linen viscose textile of a woven textural quality in a multicolored combination of threads including celadon/celery, aqua, cream, and white.

Diameter of seat is 14.50". Diameter of chrome foot rest is 13.75". Height in listing includes the upholstered seat, which is removable, in case one desires to re-upholster in a different textile. Perfect for ones; drawing or architectural table, kitchen counter or high top counter, desk area, etc. In excellent condition. Was owned by person, whom worked for the company, in the Midwest, where we acquired this via friendship connection, but she used this as her drafting stool, knew I loved it, so it was passed onto us. We have owned this since the lat 80's-early 90's for our drafting table/workspace. There are no visible markings, but if one would look at the shape of the base stem area, or neck of a Eero Saarinen vs, a Burke or other manufacturer's there are distinctive differences, that tend to or lean toward's an unmarked Eero Saarinen. manner of attribution.
