The PH Wall is part of the revolutionary three shade system developed by Paul Henningsen in 1925-1926 where the copper shades of the lamp ingeniously cast a uniform and glare-free light distribution. Henningsen's innovative design sought to direct light to where it most needed while creating aesthetically pleasing soft shadows. The shades have a matte white painted inside to ensure diffuse, comfortable light distribution.
