In most cultures, horses symbolize freedom, power, courage, and wisdom. The muscular lines and tremendous spirit of this horse are skillfully captured with crisp details. Mounted on black velvet with a dark wood frame that perfectly complements his dazzling ormolu sheen.

There is a wire across the back, so this piece is ready to be displayed.

The Ormolu on the horse has areas of wear and the ormolu patina has different grades of coloration. Small sections of the velvet around the horse show wear, as shown in the photos. There is some natural wear to the frame, especially around the edges and corners, that has happened over time. Some separation is apparent on the frame in the corners, as shown in the photos. If I have missed something in my inspection of the piece, please contact me. Antique items have been previously owned and loved, and will show some level of wear consistent with this prior use. The photos serve as an additional description.
