This piece couldn't just be woven by anyone, an extremely skillful master had to put this piece from nothing to something - one small knot at a time. Incredible colors from rosy-salmon, deep indigo blue, sensational teals, antique beige, and many other hues. The open vine design is classical and effervescent with a great medallion that acts as the anchor of this piece, balanced with the 4 darker corner spandrels. This piece has a lovely harmony of strong and delicate - that in a combination with the quality of this piece equals a rug for both a designer or client with a good eye and a rug collector alike.

This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one available. Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects. See less
