About: WOW, let the size speak for itself! This huge piece must have been woven for a specific wealthy Turkish family or even for a commercial or large office, lobby, conference room. This piece is massive and beautifully aged with genuine patina (unlike many of the Turkish rugs out there that have been forcefully and chemically distressed). This piece carries a grace from the Ancient Kerman and Sarouk designs, with a lot of space in the field between many of the motifs and the lovely center medallion making the piece seem larger than life! Nice deep blue border with earthy saffron-golds and soften with an antique beige - this piece is hard to ignore and perfect for a commercial space, or large residential space. A great size for an extra-large dining table if you host a lot and have a couple of leaves in the table, or for a space where you have large furniture because oftentimes the larger furnishings from Restoration Hardware for example, maybe swallow up the rug - not this one!
