It has everything you want in an old tribal antique piece; the colors are crazy, the design is ancient, the motifs are symbolic, and the size is wonderful. Wool pile on wool foundation speaks to its nomadic charm, and the number of animals woven in, the size of these animals and motifs, and the large tribal medallions that take up the center are all so striking that it makes you never want to look away. We've had a couple of longer runners in this same family and they sold fast, and we hope this piece finds a home where it can be viewed and cherished every day! Nice floppy handle due to the wool on wool, so make sure to order a pad as well. This piece is very old - so natural;y it has some re-piling and super responsible restoration which actually adds to the value instead of takes away because someone took the time, energy, and money to preserve this piece - as they should have. This is worthy of it, and an all-around SHOW STOPPER! The animals woven inside this piece are woven to protect the rug from negativity, so you'll have lovely energy with every step on this piece and one that protects the space you lay it down - you will LOVE this piece.
