Description: Wonderful pair of crafted 1950's wall pockets - these were sold as molds which adult crafters would learn how to … more Wonderful pair of crafted 1950's wall pockets - these were sold as molds which adult crafters would learn how to glaze the objects, and then the workshop would fire these and the crafter would take home or give as gifts.

These have a crackle glaze but if you notice, the crafter did not have firm control over the colors -- one is more blue than the other. Nevertheless they show skill and enjoyment and are now ready for you to hang on a wall and fill with flowers or greenery.

One has a long interior hairline crack that does NOT go through to the outside, so structurally is still sound enough to use as designed. less
