- This mug was hand made on the wheel by Richard Collison, an award winning potter. It was made specially for … more This mug was hand made on the wheel by Richard Collison, an award winning potter. It was made specially for a friend of mine. Richard owned an iconic shop called "Palms Up Pottery" in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for 35 years or so before recently retiring. Richard was known for his use of the colors of ocean, sand, and sky. This mug has bands of blue and taupe coloration that evokes the Atlantic Ocean. There is a nice thumb rest at the top of the handle as well. less
