VFGA, Votum Fecit Gratiam Accepit (Latin: Vow Made, Graces Accepted).
Purchased in a small crevice of an alleyway antique shop in the corridors of Venice, Italy in 1997. This is a religious painting from my personal collection and I believe it to be oil, possibly gouache, on wood featuring the Virgin Madonna and a patient being prayed over. The letters V.F.G.A are a dominant banner: Vow Made, Graces Accepted. This has a wood hanger and pencil date/location purchased on the back (can be erased) Christmas Hannukah Kwanzaa present.......
