Gorgeous and large Chinese porcelain blue & white Lotus Flower planter with under plate / drip tray. A lovely piece!
The plant pot is hand painted in a rich underglaze blue Lotus flower design repeated 3 times around body and framed with lovely scrolled border patterns on the top and bottom. Various hues of blue from light blue to ink blue. A striking heavy planter with the useful underplate to prevent those 'over watering' incidents. Fresh and crisp in appreance.
Not hallmarked.
Condition is excellent with some kiln imperfections seen on the bottom side of the foot rims.

Together the pieces are 13 1/4" tall x 17" diameter. Apart the planter is 12 3/4" tall x 17" diameter. The under plate is 13 1/2" diameter x 2" tall.
