(French: “Glomyized glass”), glass engraved on the back that has been covered by unfired painting or, usually, gold or silver leaf. This little accent table has three legs, carved in c-scrolls which rest on a triangular platform with bun feet. The Verre eglomisé is in white, black, and gold and has an acanthus leaf design. The glass top is removable and 24 Dia. No maker's mark. See less
