This gorgeous three-dimensional wall art mural features a 3-D design of two peacocks perched upon a tree branch, and surrounded by beautiful flowers. It appears to be crafted using a tin press or other mold, possibly covered with fiberglass, and may have a powder coating. The matte finish enhances the piece's sleek, modern look, while it remains surprisingly lightweight despite its impressive size.
It is fairly lightweight for its size. There are two hooks on the back for nails. The hooks are 20.5" apart from each other.
Custom designed by The Morris Natre Design Gallery in the Detroit metropolitan area, this piece dates from the 1980s-1990s. Morris Natre and his partner Hamilton were celebrated interior decorators and designers known for their high-quality and innovative designs. Their gallery was a prominent name in mid-century design, renowned for its refined craftsmanship.
