Add timeless flair to your decorating with this superb 18th Century Country French Louis XVI Neoclassical Painted Commode! Featuring a wonderfully distressed painted finish with patina, it boasts and-carved detailing across the drawer facades and cast bronze neoclassical pulls and keyguards. Carved detailing includes wheat bordering, floral baskets, foliates, and egg dart trim around diamond shapes surrounding the key guards. The diamond shapes would continue to be used in the coming Directoire period, although without the extra carved detailing. Brass bale pulls complete the look.
