Handcrafted and hand painted. Black Lacquer wood with textured decorative figures, gorgeous decor of a Japanese scene depicting a geisha woman and a pagoda temple, decorative details with golden trim.
This floating desk opens with a pull handle. When opened, you have very convenient spaces on the back that allow to store note books, letters, envelopes, pencils, calculator....
Working space shelf is right what you need to put your laptop, tablet and papers.
There are 2 hooks on the back and 4 pre-drilled holes for wall installation.
This is really a unique and beautiful perfect “retractable” small desk you desperately needed for a small space-apartment.
Very slim, it could even be installed behind a door and when closed it is a beautiful arty piece.
Would be also perfect in a guest room or as a vanity table. So many possibilities!

- The working space of the desk (shelf) only, when open, measures W 28 x D 13 inches
- The small spaces on the back allow 2" in depth space for storage.
- Top shelf when open is W 30 x D 3 inches and allows enough space for a small desk lamp.
Overall condition is good, some wear and little scratches on line with age and history. Item is sturdy and fully functional.
