Jolanta Caban was born in Lublin, Poland. In 1984-1986 she studied graphic design at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, then painting and graphics at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Warsaw ( 1986-1989). She graduated with honors received in the painting
studio of prof. Rajmud Ziemski and in the graphic prof. Roman Artymowski 1989.
In 1990, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Arts. In
1992 she took an internship at the School of Fine Arts in Montpelier as part of a
scholarship funded by the French Government. The output is more than 20 solo
exhibitions. Showed his paintings also in Paris, Vilnius and Brussels, NewYork. less
