Antique handwoven splint basket resting on two wood runners. This is a beautiful basket with a warm, rich patina that only comes with age. There are so many possible uses for this basket! Great for displays, but it is also well made and sturdy making it a good candidate for storing kindling by a fireplace or wood stove. Also makes an excellent knitting/needlepoint basket or storage for reading material, towels, etc. A wonderful antique décor piece that is also ready to be put to work!
