Westerberg started his Art education with Jeffery Watts, then taught painting at the California Art Institute from 2000- 2005 and from 2005-2010 was a popular faculty member at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, Aaron also taught at the Academy of Couture Arts a fashion school in Hollywood Ca. Mr. Westerberg’s work was chosen Best in Show in the Raymar Annual Art contest as well as the BoldBrush painting competition and as a finalist in the figurative, drawing, and animal categories of ARC International’s annual Salon and won Best of Show in the Portrait Society of America's annual Self Portrait and Animal competition. His work “Belena” was chosen for the cover of the hardcover book, “Strokes of Genius”, a collection of the best drawings from around the globe. Aaron has been featured in Southwest Art magazine’s annual roster of “Twenty-One Under Thirty-One”. He has been given a feature story in American Art Collector magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist, International Artist, Peninsula Magazine, Easy Reader, as well as being named one of the best 24 artists under 40 by Artists' Magazine. Aaron Westerberg is a Signature Member of the California Art Club, the Oil Painters of America, and the Portrait Society of America. Mr. Westerberg’s work hangs in major corporations, hotels, and homes around the world.
The painting offered for sale is "Jennifer's Corner." Oil on Linen 12 X 9 unframed and 19 X 16 framed. The frame's outer edges are distressed silver and black four-edged molding, followed by a solid black curved dimensional middle and then lined in a polished sliver round edge that follows a distressed silver black molding at the painting's edge.
The oil painting features a young woman posed in a side view sitting on an upright wood chair with a dark green cushion.
