Part of 'Le Musée Français', published from 1803 to 1809 (or 1810); the painting, executed c.1603 and now in the Pinacoteca Vaticana, spent a brief time in the French museum as part of the masterpieces confiscated by Napoleon after the treaty of Tolentino (1797).
